GABA Spirits are designed to increase the effectiveness of the calming effects GABA provides. GABA Spirits do not raise your GABA levels, nor do they contain GABA itself as an active ingredient.

We do not use GABA as an active ingredient because ingested GABA cannot pass from your bloodstream through what is known as the blood brain barrier (BBB), and then on into your brain.

Instead, GABA Spirits contain active ingredients that can pass the BBB and modulate the effectiveness of the GABA naturally produced by your brain.
